The horse, especially the white horse is a strong historical and religious symbol. It is written into scriptures of the Koran, the Bible and the Torah.
It symbolizes, success, freedom, strength, power, nobility and wisdom.
The video shows a white horse near the separation wall in Bir Nabala, Palestine. It is standing right in front of us and the string around its neck is torn as if it freed itself. The horse is observing us while we are observing it. Time is slowed down and depicted forwards and backwards. We can see the muscle contractions and the movements of the horses tail. The face is calm and it is looking straight at us. We are locked into a fragment of time where the beginning is also the end and the end becomes the beginning only to repeat itself in a seemingly never-ending cycle.

One of the components of Israels occupation of the Palestinian territories are the military checkpoints. Thousands of Palestinians have to cross these checkpoints daily and have to endure humiliation. This main checkpoint between the northern West Bank and Jerusalem is one of the prominent points of friction between Israel and Palestine. The X-Ray Machine, a symbol for the mechanism of control, is where both sides meet.
